Hello Antonio, just to let you know how much we enjoyed our holiday in your lovely villa! The scenery and area are just lovely - we hired a car on the Monday and managed to get out quite a lot but there is still so much to see - we need a return visit! Your parents are such nice, friendly people and their English is very good. I am intending to learn Spanish at night school - hopefully but I don't think I will be able to understand it at all! Our friends also enjoyed the holiday so very much and we have come home with lots of gifts for Christmas. We met such nice people in your Villa and we are to spend a weekend with them in 1 month's time.
England is cold and we missed a lot of rain for the week we were away. We go back to work tomorrow and that is very sad! My husband and I teach at a College in Leicestershire and it will be very difficult to get into the routine again after such a lovely break. I guess we will have to follow the sunshine every October now.
Again, please thank your parents for their hospitality and wish your father every success in his building project - the digger arrived whilst we were there and it was amazing how quickly he dug out a path to the bottom of the hill!
We will hopefully be in touch again to book next year! Bye for now.

Just a quick mail to say how much we really enjoyed staying at the apartment in September. We did absolutely nothing apart from eat, drink, sunbathe and swim. The apartment was excellent, the views amazing. I have told lots of friends and family about the holiday and we will definitely come back some time. I see that you are advertising new houses. We had a terrific time in your villa and the apartment was great. Your parents are lovely people and were very nice to us. We look forward to going back next year.
If I might be so bold to offer you some tips:
As the location is removed from shops and other services it would be a good idea to recommend arranging car hire in advance of the visit.
We arrived at about 7.45pm and the nearest shop (Wynnes) at the entrance to Torremar was close by the time I walked back up the hill. I suggest you provide a small jar of instant coffee and some milk so that late guests will have some refreshment.
My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the villa and the views are terrific. I hope you don't resent my suggestions.

We thought it was perfect alternative for 2 or even 3 families, (as we were the first week) travelling together.
The solution with the possibility of open up the wall at the balcony, between the 2 midfloors apartments is really smart.
The terrace is absolutely perfect sized, planned with the pool and of course the stunning view!
And the good sized kitchen was perfect when you like cocking good food!

Thank You for a nice vacation in 2002, when we rented apartments from you.
We were 2 families in 2 weeks an another family for 1 week
But this year we did went to Italy, instead.
For the next year we have planed to go back to Spain again.
This time, like last time, we are (at least) 2 families, but just with another family this time.
We did have the 2 apartments in the mid floor in your house, and we were very satisfied!
(I have put pictures of the house and the vacation at my norwegian homesite!!
do you think you could give us a good price for those 2 apartments, for 2 weeks in July next summer (2004)?
We have not looked at exact dates yet but I assume we are talking about going to Spain around the 10th of july.

Dear all, A last letter from us in our temporary home here in Spain. Our 10 months here are almost over. We are going to start the drive back to France on the 29th and hope to be back in Vence on the 1st of July. We are looking back on a very nice 10 months here. Aimée and Ans have achieved quite an acceptable level of Spanish, one of our goals. School was not easy for Aimée, but she managed all right and had a very good year with regards to seeing friends etc. Due to the good public transport she was able to go to the cinema, shopping, to the beach etc. with her friends under her own steam. Hans was pleasantly surprised by the nice warm winter here and thinks we might be back for some time next winter, maybe even in the same complex. We managed to go skiing in Sierra Nevada this winter, a very special experience. We went for short trips to the Algarve in Portugal twice, a very nice and friendly area with a slightly more moderate climate than the Costa del Sol. Also we visited Morocco and all the very interesting sights Andalusia has to offer. We enjoyed the Spanish food and wines and discovered quite a few nice restaurants near by. We took golf lessons here and in Portugal and managed all three to get our handicap. Last but not least we met nice and interesting people and made some friends for life!As most of you already know, Aimee managed to win a place in the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales, England. A big honor and change for her and also for us, as she will no longer be living at home with us. However, before she starts school on September 13th, we are looking forward to a long summer in our beloved home in Vence, and probably a short visit to the Netherlands around the 14th of July. We hope to see you all very soon, keep in touch, Annemarie Hans and Aimée.
